Vanishing Woman

Public Storytelling for Feminist Cinema
(2023)

Vanishing Women
was a feminist moving-image project developed in Glasgow, bringing together curation, visual identity, and public engagement around women’s visibility in cinema.

For this project, I contributed to the curatorial planning and developed the visual and promotional language, including the trailer, poster, badges, key visuals, and audience-facing materials. The project explored how women’s stories can be made more visible through independent film culture, collective viewing, and small-scale public events.

I see this work as an early form of public storytelling: using design, curation, and moving image to build a temporary cultural space for overlooked voices.
