Fragments, tests, sketches, and unfinished systems.
Lab Notes is a collection of process images, prototypes, visual tests, sketches, and unfinished systems.
I use this space to document how ideas move between drawing, animation, AI-assisted tools, projection, interaction, and physical display. Some notes later become finished installations or films. Others remain as small experiments, failed attempts, or visual questions that continue to shape the work.
Migration Map Experiments
Turning interviews, memories, and audience responses into emotional maps.
Migration is not only a route. It is also a pressure, a delay, a longing, a fear, a room, a language, a body learning where it can rest. These experiments explore how interviews and audience responses might become emotional maps: points, clusters, constellations, and unfinished lines between places.
Project Overview and Recruitment Flow.docx
Question design for exhibition-based data collection
Consent A.docx
These tests explore how animated images can become spatial and responsive.
I work with projection, screens, sensors, TouchDesigner, and real-time media to understand how a viewer’s body might activate a memory, reveal a city, or disturb a visual environment.
AI-assisted Visual Research
I use AI-assisted tools as a way to think visually before a work becomes physical.
These images are not final artworks, but speculative sketches. They help me test atmosphere, scale, lighting, material feeling, and possible exhibition scenarios before translating them into animation, installation, or spatial design. Sometimes an AI image becomes a moodboard. Sometimes it reveals what I do not want. Sometimes it gives me a strange mistake that leads to a better idea.
