Cecilia Chuan Jiang
CC is an animation director, visual artist, and researcher born in southern China, currently based in the UK.
She holds a Master’s in Film Curation from the University of Glasgow and a BFA from the University of Southern California. Her work spans various mediums, including animation, digital art and mixed media. With a distinctive style that blends hand-drawing and digital painting, Chuan explores themes of identity, social change, and urban space. Her research focuses on the representation of Chinese urban life and social transformation in animated films. Chuan’s work has been exhibited internationally, including in China, the United States, and the UK.
